He're comes our second cosplay. This time I wanna make it grand and flashy so chu and I decided to recruit some people to join our cosplay.
The big theme is Trinity Blood. It's one of my most favorite manga. The anime is kinda good too I guess. The costumes they wear are so cool, plus there are so many characters we can pick.
There are other thing too. I've always wanted to make some kinda community for people who love manga, anime, cosplay and all other japanesse stuff in my campus. I mean, we're med students, we definitely some fun things to do besides studying with all those brick-thick med books. So...
I kinda contact everyone I know (who like these stuff of course) in every year and asked if anyone wanna join our cosplay team. I managed to gather 18 people, that's an amazing number considering the time and place (wakakakakak...).
I pick the flashiest character, Caterina Sforza. I used red satin to make her dress. Its kinda difficult to sew. Its even soooo hard to cut it based on the pattern (it keeps on moving around, gaaaaaah!!!). As for chu, she said she's soo busy she didn't have time to sew herself (ugh.. again?!!!)
*chu: don't blame me! I'm a high school student! blame my teachers for giving me such a hard time (pout)*
*shiki: uhh... sorry? but I'm a med student and I still managed to sew that super difficult costume y know*
*chu: umm... (blush) but I'm still a high school student! period! (pouting again)*
*shiki: heh...*
So... the hard part is going around trying to find someone who can sew 17 costumes in 2 months. Kinda took me a week to finally find the rite one. An old friend of my mom, an expert in costume sewing (she once made some basara costumes and it was aweesoooomeee!!!). We practically begged so she would give us cheaper prize, and we did it! yattaaa!!!
Well, it all turned out alrite. I failed to get a blond wig though... but overall, I'm satisfied. Besides I got to establish my dream community, Igakusei community!!!
